Why would Bochy put Affeldt in after Sanchez's great game?

Sanchez holds the A's to one run over 6 innings, then Bochy puts in Affeldt in a one run game! I can understand playing him to allow him to sort himself out of his funk, but why would you put someone struggling that bad into a one run game and allow him to ruin a pitchers masterpiece/win?
