Should I buy red boots?

So, there are these really cute booties (ankle boots) that I want, but they are last year's boots and I wanted them in either black or brown. Because they are from last year's collection, they only have one pair left and it's my size, but they are red... Should I buy them? If so, what would I wear them with? They are like a deep red and they are suede.
