Follow-up to previous question on indentured slavery...?

I can see where you are coming from, but I don't see the Military as slavery. I think that because of the fact that you are given the choice of whether to join or not, it's not slavery. If everyone had the choice to opt out, no one would ever go to war. They got rid of the draft so that you had the freedom to choose if you were going to go to war. If you sign up, you know that there is that possibility.
