Help me underdstand??...!!?

ok so theres this guy that loves me..hes a good semi close friend...anyways, i dont like him in that way...he hasnt been going to school this days becasue hes sick and ive missed him..i dont know if i mis him because hes my friend and its like i would miss any other friend that i see and hang out with everyday or if its because if something else...the guy is really sweet...the type that helps you get up if ur sitting down, opens the car door..tells u how pretty u look just because...so yeah that guy is pretty cool, but i dont want to fall in love bec. right now i dont want anything with anyone in that way....but im confused..with what ive said what do u guys think i feel for him...just like strong friendly affection or what?
