Never thought a c-section would have to be an option?

I had my baby August 24th through c-section & was so counting on a l birth so much that I never even though a c-section was an option. It saddens me that I needed a c-section but I am so happy to see my newborn but I am so much pain I can barely enjoy it. She is going to grow so quick & I feel like I am missing it already I know I won't hurt forever but anyone else feel like they have failed because they couldn't deliver lly?
