Dogs and fleas!!!!!!PLZ ANSWER!!!!!?

Ok,so my dog has tons of fleas! It all started when we took in this little kitten (unknowing it was covered in fleas).Well now all the fleas left the kitty and went to the poor dog.Everyday we give a flea bath.We have the spray and the powder,we even tried a flea bomb! We have also tried all of those home remidies,none of which worked!So now our house and our poor chi is covered! We are about to buy the Frontline stuff,but all I want to know is there any other good brands or ways to get rid of these little pests.
